Ezekiel’s Story

The story of Legacy of Grace Ministries International began long before its name was even conceived. It began with an eleven‑year‑old boy in Nigeria gathering neighborhood children under a tree, opening a worn Bible, and teaching them about the love of God. That boy was Ezekiel Otene, and even then, God was quietly shaping a calling that would one day reach across continents.

What started as simple Bible clubs grew into a lifelong journey marked by God’s unmistakable grace. Over nearly three decades, Ezekiel has followed the Lord through seasons of church planting, pastoring, evangelistic campaigns, media ministry, discipleship training, and compassionate outreach to the poor and forgotten. Each chapter has carried its own challenges and miracles, but one theme has remained constant: God’s unmerited favor guiding every step.

Ezekiel’s path has never been linear. It has been a tapestry woven from faith and a deep desire to see lives transformed. His academic journey reflects that same commitment to growth. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Evangel Theological Seminary in Jos, Nigeria, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Today, he continues to expand his leadership capacity as a PhD student in Global Leadership and Change at the prestigious Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

Alongside ministry, Ezekiel has also thrived in the professional world, serving several Fortune 100 companies in the United States. Whether in the meeting room or the mission field, he carries the same passion: to uplift, empower, and help people discover purpose.

Legacy of Grace Ministries International was born out of this lifelong calling, not as an institution, but as a movement of God’s love, healing, and transformation. Ezekiel often describes his journey as one long testimony of God’s faithfulness: a story still being written.

Today, Ezekiel lives in Southern California with his wife, Natalie, and their son, Joseph. Together, they continue to serve, teach, and build a legacy rooted in grace.

Ezekiel Otene,

JOSEPH FOUNDATION

Inspired by the sacrificial life and graceful legacy of Elder Joseph Otene, Joseph Foundation exists to extend the compassion he lived out daily. His memory fuels our commitment to serve those who are often overlooked.

Our work includes humanitarian outreach to orphanages, widows, and communities in developing nations. We also empower young people through skills training, mentorship, and grant opportunities that help them build self‑reliance and a hopeful future.

BELIEVE

We believe there is one God, who eternally exists in three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 3:16–17, 2 Cor. 13:14, Eph. 4:4–6).

We believe in the authority of the Bible as the Word of God. We believe all Scripture is divinely inspired by God and is the unshakable foundation for sound doctrine (2 Tim. 3:16-17).

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His power to heal, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His sacrifice on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator. We believe the Lord Jesus is coming back again just as He promised (John 14:2, 3, Matt. 24:30).

We believe the Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He guides us in all areas of our lives (John 14:26 ᴋᴊᴠ). We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by praying in the Spirit (Acts 2:1-4). We believe in the nine gifts of the Spirit and nine attributes of the fruit of the Spirit (1 Cor. 12:7–11, Gal. 5:22–23).

We believe the good news that God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, Jesus, and whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (John 3:16-17). We believe we are called to bring this good news—the gospel of grace—to all nations (Acts 20:24).
